Nov 16, 2012 APS Dog of the Week - Ryan We're less than a week away from Thanksgiving, and one of the things we're most thankful for is our shelter alum, puppy love of our life and VP of Quality Control, Barley! Looking for your own pup to love? Check out Ryan, this week's APS of Durham Pet of the Week: Name: Ryan Breed/Gender: Lab mix/Male Age: Just under a year old Personality: Friendly, playful young dog who’s very, very food-motivated so he should be fun and easy to train! He likes other dogs. Ryan will blossom in an active, committed home where he’ll have lots of exercise and kind, consistent basic training. APS Kennel: 7 Barley's thoughts: Well, hello, Ryan! You and I could be siblings! Lab mix? Check. Food-motivated? Check. Fun and easy to train? Check and check. Listen up, people: Doggies like Ryan and me are hot commodities, so you'd better get yourself to APS of Durham right quick if you want to adopt him! My people nearly lost out on adopting me because they waited a day to "think about it." PSH. Think about this - More than a decade of that adorable puppy face, unconditional love and affection and an endless amount of goofy Lab entertainment. You can't pass that up! Learn more about Ryan and see additional pictures on the Bull City Dogs blog. If you're interested in adopting Ryan, contact firstname.lastname@example.org. To view a list of other dogs in need of a good home, visit the Adoptable Dogs section of the APS Durham website. Already have a dog you want to spoil?
